Biographical Sketch:
Benny received his Doctorate degree in Physical chemistry/Electrochemistry from Tel Aviv University. He did his post-doctoral work at the University of Texas with Prof. Allen Bard, then joined NASA Langley Research Center working on photoelectrochemical systems. He later worked at Johnson Controls, Inc. on lead acid batteries and supercapacitors. Benny has been with Energy Conversion Devices for over twenty years, helping in the development of the nickel metal hydride batteries. In the last few years, his work is focused on hydrogen production and the development of the Alkaline Enhanced Reformation technology.
