Californians and the Media: Results of a survey conducted by the California Fuel Cell Partnership

Chris White, California Fuel Cell Partnership

In 2007, the California Fuel Cell Partnership conducted a survey to learn how and why Californians get information about alternative fuel vehicles. This session summarizes the results of that survey and includes:

o       Which vehicles people consider to be “alternative fuel vehicles”

o       The broader topics that drive interest in AFVs

o       The sources of media that people use to find information, the sources that are primary and the sources that are trusted and credible

o       The gaps between media sources that people expect to find AFV information and where they remember finding it

o       How organizations can use the results of this survey to define their media plans
